Inspired by her personal journey toward body awareness and healing, Jen has a seemingly innate desire to help others relieve pain, stress, and live comfortably within their own bodies.
Her intuitive approach to massage therapy is based on connecting with each individual and assessing their unique needs. Jen draws from her knowledge of massage technique, yoga, meditation, and nutrition to create specific treatment plans and goals for each individual.
Jen is a Licensed Massage Therapist, graduating in December 2011 from Cortiva Institute (Boston) where she completed 750 hours of intensive training in anatomy, physiology, and muscular therapy. Her training includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuro-Muscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Sports Massage.
Jen has a strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine and Eastern bodywork techniques, such as Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Gua Sha, and Tui Na. She hopes to continue to further her education in these fields and integrate them into her practice.
Although she is new to the field, Jen is deeply passionate about bodywork practices that will help others to tap into their own self-healing powers.
