Neck Tension Relief
One great way to relieve neck tension and possibly reduce some tension headaches is to lie down on the back and place the neck over a thick rolled-up towel or blanket and rest for at least 5 minutes.
Letting the neck muscles rest in the extended position allows the muscle fibers to soften and release.
It’s a good idea to combine this restorative position with deep breath and relaxed atmosphere.
