Tui Na
Often regarded as the oldest form of bodywork, Tui Na comes from China and is an integral part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is considered to be the predecessor to most modern styles of massage therapy and chiropractic.

What to expect: Tui Na is characterized by quick and effective treatments for an incredibly wide spectrum of conditions. Practitioner uses techniques such as: ~ hand rolling (using the back hand), ~ finger-springing (using the thumbs), and ~ palm circling. Benefits: Ranging from muscle tension release to relief from indigestion, with the main focus on unblocking and restoring proper energy and blood flow to the energy meridians, strengthening the organs, tissues, and immune system. How to prepare: Clients are dressed in comfortable stretchy or loose clothing during the session. Practitioner's Training Slava completed his Tui Na Specialization at the Professional International School of Bodywork in San Diego, CA, under the guidance of Bill Helm and Skip Kanester. Both Mr. Helm and Mr. Kanester are widely recognized authorities on Chinese Medical Massage in the United States, who travel and teach Tui Na around the country.
